My story starts out growing up in a landlords family. Real estate was our life. My family came from Europe where land was everything. Within a short period of time working hard, saving every penny my grandparents purchased their first investment property. This was the 70s and qualifying for a mortgage was a completely different process than it is today. Their first purchase was a multi family residence. Great investment opportunity if you are seeking one. With time that investment came to help fund all their other residences. Passive income such as rentals is one of the best ways to not only set your future up for success, but it can also help set up multi generations with the right support. Growing up with both sides of my grandparents owning and running multi family residences prepared me for my beginning in real estate. I watched all members of my family tirelessly apply work into running these rentals. Many hours of repairs, working with tenants, making sure the day to day operations ran smoothly. To us that was life. Growing up we were disciplined in the areas of financial literacy and how to grow financially was to be wise with your money. A sacrifice today would lead to a better tomorrow. Over time my family enjoyed the perks of being in the real estate market. Just as time passes and previous generations retire and pass on their experiences and their wisdom to the next generation it opens up a new landscape of the direction in which a family will go. You never realize the impact of a moment until you get older and hopefully wiser from those experiences. I watch so many Americans struggle to get by living pay check to pay check. Especially as inflation has impacted all of us daily. The rising cost of food, utilities its endless. However how can one really combat rising costs? By being financially literate. Investing in ones own self is the best way to set yourself up for success. First, lets start where the heart is of every single family. The home. The home sets the precedent for your success in the future. Psychology tells us the keys to success is in our environment. The home we chose to make our own, the community, the schools, the friends, and most importantly the happy memories we will share. Nothing is more important than having a life we enjoy and don't need to escape from. Why work hard for the home, vacations if it isn't what were passionate about. A great home in a great area can truly give you a chance to not only build generational wealth for your family but it can keep you going healthier stronger longer! There are many options out there some better for you if you are willing to open your mind and allow yourself to experience it. Are you ready for the journey of home ownership? If so, contact me today and allow me the time to help make your goals a reality together.
So proud of you Jackie and this new journey of yours. Best of luck to you. Your clients are so lucky to have you as their realtor. -Bibi
